Dear students of K4,

I'm going to have the last 2classes of Dat nuoc hoc with you. The first one will be next week and the second one the week after. Next week, our topic will be US POLITICS.
Can you help me with the grouping and topic picking for the whole K4?
I'd like to divide you into groups of 4, so I imagine we'll have about 23 groups. I suggest that you keep the groups that work together for Ms. Lien's class on UK ans US Education system. We'll work on 7 topics:

1. The federal government and political parties.
2. US foreign policy and roles of the President and Congress in making foreign policy.
3. Elections: How are elections held? (all kinds of elections)
4. Presidency: How is a president elected? Talk about 2 most influential presidents (the ones you think have changed the US the most). Explain why you choose them.
5. US hot political issues (3 issues)
6. US political culture.
7. Colonialism and Neocolonialism.

So 3 or 4 groups will have the same topic. Let the representatives of the 23 groups pick up topics and you will all have to prepare reports and presentations before class next week. I'll expect as many presentations as possible. I'll call you randomly.
